Ingredients

  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 green tea bags or 2 tsp green tea leaves
  • 1 cinnamon stick (2 to 3 inches)
  • 1 small piece of ginger (1 to 2 inches)
  • 5 to 6 mint leaves
  • Honey according to the taste

Directions

  1. Pour 2 glasses of water into a pot.
  2. Add cinnamon stick, ginger and bring it to boil.
  3. Let it cool for 30 seconds, then add green tea/herbal tea and mint leaves.
  4. Now let the tea steep for 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Strain, discard tea bags and spices.
  6. Stir honey into tea before drinking .
  7. Serve immediately.
